Gekko gecko
Gekko gecko, the tokay gecko, is a nocturnal arboreal gecko in the genus Gekko, the true geckos. It is native to Asia and some Pacific Islands.

BIOME: Tokay Geckos are very hardy and adaptable geckos, but prefer hot and humid climates. They can be found in the jungle and forests, while also flourishing in human made habitats.
BEHAVIOR: Nocturnal. Tokay geckos are relatively shy, and are known to be highly defensive in nature. These geckos are also very vocal and fast. Despite their nocturnal nature, Tokay geckos do enjoy basking during the day. Tokays also will live in family groups, while parents will raise the young until they are large enough to fend for themselves.
DIET: Insectivorous and Carnivorous. Tokay geckos relish various insects that are suitable for their size, and will also prey on vertebrates such as birds and other reptiles. Crickets, Roaches, Superworms and Hornworms are a good variety to offer your Tokay gecko.
